As the River Stour wends its way towards the sea it passes the village of Canford Magna and the oldest working building in Poole, the ancient parish church. We have been welcoming visitors for over 1,000 years to our village and now, in partnership with Canford School, we have opened up one of the most beautiful stretches of the river through the addition of the Kingfisher Riverside Platform.
Kingfisher allows a breathtaking view of the River Stour and is fully accessible to disabled groups who would like to book a visit.
Our Canford Magna Centre is nearby and we’d be delighted to offer you refreshments, facilities and local information.
